A Kepaze Trainer, which is a traditional wooden bow training tool. This device is essentially a lightweight “dummy bow” used to practice the motions of drawing without actually shooting an arrow. Ottoman archers used Kepaze bows to build muscle memory. It’s great for archers who want to improve form, strength, or rehabilitate without the strain of a full bow.
Material: Wood (hardwood) frame shaped like a bow handle with short limbs, plus rubber resistance bands (2 installed) to simulate draw weight.
Dimensions: ~30″ tip to tip.
Resistance: Approximately 20–25# of pull with both rubber bands (can remove one band to reduce resistance for beginners). Features: The trainer can be drawn back to anchor repeatedly;
no arrow necessary. It’s sturdy and can be dry-fired (since it’s just bands). Comes with instructions on traditional form drills.
None – standard trainer tool. (One could add or remove resistance bands to adjust difficulty, but that’s not a store option, just a use-case).
